Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Bergen
Arrival in Bergen according to your own itinerary. Bergen is Norway's second largest city and the only city in the world to be surrounded by 7 mountains and 7 fjords. Bergen's tourist attractions include the Hanseatic port of Bryggen, the Fløibanen funicular, Troldhaugen, the fish and flower market, the Bergen aquarium and Gamle Bergen (open-air museum of the old Bergen).

Day 2: Bergen – Flåm
You will drive from Bergen, heading north-east, via Voss to Flåm. Flåm is a pretty little village located at the edge of the Aurlandsfjord.

Day 3: Flåm (hikes)
Flåmsdalen hike: Take the train to Myrdal and return along the Rallarvegen path (the railroad workers road). Approx. 20 km / 6 hours' walk.
Aurlandsdalen hike (Aurland Valley): Bus from Flåm to Østerbø (30 min). The trail starts right next to the Østerbø Fjellstove accommodation. Follow the river to Vassbygdi, then take the bus to Flåm. Approximately 20 km / 6 hours walk.
Prest hike: Take the road to Aurland and climb the Aurlandsvegen, approx. 8 km. Pass the Steigasten viewpoint, and a car park is located 500 m further up. Start the hike from the car park. Approximately 4 to 5 hours.

Day 4: Flåm - Sogndal
Morning in Flåm to enjoy the various activities the area has to offer, such as exploring the fjord by RIB Boat or kayak. Drive to Lærdal via one of Europe's longest road tunnels (24 km) or via the superb Aurlandfsjellet mountain road, which offers spectacular views of the fjord and mountains. Before arriving in Lærdal, you can make a quick diversions to Borgund Church, one of the country's most beautiful stave churches. Continue on to Fodnes to take a 10-minute ferry ride across the fjord to Mannheller and then on to Sogndal.

Day 5: Sogndal – Jostedal - Bøverdal
Glacier hike - with guide - Around 2 hours on the ice. This hike takes you through beautiful blue ice formations. During the hike, you will see the spectacular scenery of the lower part of the Nigard glacier. The guides will also tell you about the impact of climate change on glaciers. We strongly recommend that you also visit the glacier centre, where you can learn more about climate change. You will then take the road to Boverdal. This national tourist road from Sognefjellet is the highest mountain pass in Northern Europe (the highest point on the road is 1,434 metres above sea level).
Dinner and accommodation in Bøverdal area.
Day 6: Bøverdal - Geiranger
You will continue your journey north via Lom to Geiranger. From here, hold your breath and get your camera ready - the surroundings are truly stunning, worthy of the most beautiful postcards. Geirangerfjord was added to UNESCO's World Heritage List in 2005, and is a truly unique place, with its waterfalls and steep hills.

Day 7: Geiranger
This morning you will be exploring the Geiranger fjord by boat. The scenery is breathtaking! You can enjoy the waterfalls ‘The Seven Sisters’, ‘Bridal Veil’ and ‘Suitor’ and the majestic cliffs that line the fjord. You might even be lucky enough to spot a harbour porpoise! Don't forget your camera.

We recommend the following hikes:
Skageflå hike: Take the MS Geirangerfjord boat, which will drop you off at the starting point of your hike (1-hour cruise). It takes around 45 minutes to get to Skageflå, then continue for around 2 hours to Homlong. Finally, you'll head back down to Geiranger (approx. 2 hours), with a 600 m elevation loss.
Hike from Vesterås Gard to Løsta: From Geiranger, drive up Route 63 to a junction indicating Vesterås. Follow the relatively flat path from the farm. Then, on your right, you'll find a rather winding road that climbs up to Løsta. It's about 200m elevation gain and a 3-hour walk. When you arrive, you'll have a splendid view of the Geiranger fjord.
Day 8: Geiranger - Ålesund
Departure from Geiranger by car to the ‘Eagle Route’ and its panoramic view over the Geirangerfjord. A short ferry crossing between Eidsal and Valldal (not included in the price) and off you go to the pretty town of Ålesund.

Day 9: Ålesund and departure from Norway
Departure from the hotel to the airport (transfer not included) according to your flight itinerary.

Local tip
During your free time in Bergen, enjoy the stunning view of the city and the sea by going up their cable car: Fløibanen. Grab a coffee on top, and if the weather is good, enjoy a nice walk down back to the city.
