Day 1: Arrival in Oslo

Arrival at Oslo Airport. Pick up of the rental car (not included in our rates). First discovery of this attractive capital. The city center of Oslo is approx. 45 km from the airport.

Day 2:  Oslo – Lillehammer (180 km)

Departure to the north and Minnesund, not far from the village of Eidsvoll where was signed the first Norwegian constitution on May 17, 1905. Pursuit along Lake Mjøsa which is the largest of the country with a length of 117 kms. In Hamar, discover the Olympic ice rink in the shape of an upside down Drakkar. Continue to Lillehammer, site of the 1994 Winter Olympics. Climb to the top of the ski jumping hill for a superb view of the city and its valley.

Day 3: Lillehammer – Ålesund (370 km)

Departure to the famous valley of Gudbrandsdal where it is possible to see many traditional farms. Pass through the beautiful valley of Romsdalen where you will discover the Troll Wall. Arrival at Ålesund, located at the mouth of the Storfjord. The city was completely destroyed by a fire in 1904 and rebuilt in an "art nouveau" style.

Day 4: Ålesund – Geirangerfjord – Valdrès (400 km)

Road along the Storfjord to Linen. Crossing by ferry between Linge and Eidsdal before continuing on a beautiful mountain road called the "Eagle Road" which offers splendid views of the Geirangerfjord. Continuation to the Jotunheimen or Josterdalsbreen national park region.

Day 5: Valdrès – Sognefjord – Bergen region (260 km)

Today, head for the mountainous Filefjell plateau, then descend to Lærdal, the famous Borgund stave church (entrance not included). Then pass through one of the longest tunnels in Europe (25km) to Flåm and Sognefjord. Then visit the Stalheim Valley and then Voss and arrive in Bergen, the capital of the fjords.

Day 6: Bergen – Geilo/Gol (320 km)

Morning in Bergen then departure along the Hardanger Fjord, called the fjord lovers and known for its fruit trees. We recommend a stop at the Steindalsfossen Falls where a small trail takes you behind the waterfall. Crossing (toll not included) of the new 1.380m long suspension bridge over Hardanger Fjord. We recommend a stop at the Vøringsfossen waterfall, which is one of the highest in Norway. Pursued by the mountain plateau of Hardangervidda, this national park is a real eldorado for hikers and fishermen.

Day 7: Geilo – Oslo region (190 km)

Departure for Oslo by the beautiful Hallingdal Valley, then the Ringerike region. Afternoon to discover the Norwegian capital. We recommend the peninsula Bydgøy and its museums (Viking, Fram, Kontiki ...), the Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Munch Museum, the district of Aker Brygge, the Avenue Karl Johan.

Day 8: Departure from Oslo

According to flight schedules, free time and route to the airport, and leave the car.

Note: To get from the airport to the city center or vice versa, we recommend that you use low CO2 transport such as trains, trams, airport coaches, shuttles or private transport by electric car.
