Day 1: Arrival in Bergen

Bergen is Norway's second-largest city, and the only one in the world to be surrounded by seven mountains and seven fjords. The main sights are the Hanseatic quarter of Bryggen and its harbour, the Fløibanen funicular railway, Troldhaugen, the flower and fish market, the Bergen aquarium and Gamle Bergen - the open-air museum in the old town.

Day 2: Cruise on the Sognefjord (Bergen – Balestrand)

Departure in the morning by express boat, heading north along the west coast of Norway. After a few hours, the journey continues along the Sognefjord, the longest and deepest fjord in the world, to Balestrand.

Day 3: Excursion to the Fjærlandsfjord and visit to the Bøyabreen glacier

Take a boat to Fjærland. The narrow Fjærlandsfjord, with its steep, wooded mountainsides, leads you to the edge of the majestic Jostedalen glacier. Wildlife is abundant in the region, and over 100 different bird species have been spotted in the Bøyaøyri nature reserve. On arrival in Fjærland, a bus will take you to the Norwegian Glacier Museum, an interactive museum where you can learn about glaciers and climate in an innovative way. The tour continues to the Bøyabreen glacier, a branch of the Jostedalsbreen glacier. Here you can take photos and see how the glacier fits into the landscape. The bus returns to the Fjærland quay, and the boat takes you back to Balestrand.

Day 4: Cruise on the fjord and Flåm’s train (Balestrand – Vatnahalsen)

2-hour cruise to Flåm. Board the famous Flåm train. You will travel through magnificent mountain wilderness, with waterfalls and steep gradients reaching heights of 900 metres. There's no other train in the world running on conventional rails through steep terrain over a long distance like this. You then arrive at the Vatnahalsen, a family-run hotel offering a calm and relaxing atmosphere in a spectacular location at around 820 metres above sea level.

Day 5: Flåm Zipline and bike and Fjord Safari (Vatnahalsen – Voss)

In the morning, drop off your bags at the hotel reception for transport to Flåm. You will then walk for a few minutes to reach the Vatnahalsen zip line, which will take you into the air and allow you to admire the magnificent surrounding valley. Once you've recovered from the thrill of the ride, you'll head off by bike to complete your descent to Flåm. Once in Flåm, take a cruise along the narrow Nærøyfjord. The Nærøyfjord has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005. Arrive in Gudvangen. You will then travel by bus to Voss via the beautiful Stalheim valley and one of Europe's steepest roads, the Stalheimskleiva.

Day 6: Rafting on Voss River

In the morning, a bus will be waiting to take you to the rafting centre, where you can try your hand at rafting on Norwegian waters. This centre combines the highest standards of safety with guaranteed thrills! Their aim is to take you into a world full of adventure while staying safe. On the boat, you'll get wet, you'll have to row, the boat may turn over, but you can be sure of a great time, full of memories. Transfer back to Voss.

Day 7: Voss – Bergen (train)

A train journey of around an hour and a half will take you to Bergen. Free day to rediscover the beautiful city of Bergen, with some sightseeing and perhaps a little shopping!

Day 8: Departure from Bergen

Individual transfer to the airport (not included), depending on your itinerary.
